In a Garden State of Mind . . .

Today is a beautiful sunny day and with most of the snow melting away earlier this week, I'm starting to dream of gardening. About the plot Brian dug up for me last fall and where he built a beautiful arbor. That plot will be transformed into a beautiful moon garden come spring. About the herb garden wheel I plan on planting ~ after Brian builds the wheel. About buying some new perennials to fill in some bare spots and moving other plants that would do better in other places. It's a beautiful dream and one I know will come into being . . . as soon as the ground thaws.

"From December to March there are, for many of us,
three gardens ~

the garden outdoors,

the garden of pots and bowls in the house,

and the garden of the mind's eye."

The garden in my mind always seems to outshine the ones that actually happen!

This will be the first full year that I have spent liviing in the south. For almost years I have lived in the Midwest where spring fever would set in for me around this time. lol Now I am haveing to adjust to a climit that allows for tropical plants year around. Our stores here went from carring holiday stuff right into gardening stuff. I planted pansey's already!!! At this rate I will be in a scramble to get my garden in!! lolol Wow what a change for us.
Wishing you all the best in your garden this year!! =]
